But aside from that, why would 'the elite' be using such indiscriminate methods to 'reduce the population'? For example, by what means are 'the elite' 'shielded' from WiFi?
Aluminum foil underwear?

Resistance is Futile, fascism has an environmental facade that you have bought hook-line-and-sinker.
That's a pretty bold statement. Are you implying that people who actually care about the environment are fascists?
The "smart" grid and the whole environmental movement is a ruse and a pretext for world government and land grabbing.
Well that's certainly an interesting theory. Would you be willing to acknowledge that perhaps there's an alternate, more reasonable motivation behind people's concern for the environment they live in?
An example of the hypocrisy of this phony green movement is its founder, Maurice Strong. This clown started the eco movement, yet he was the CEO of Petro-Canada, Canada's Crown petroleum producer.
I've never heard of Maurice Strong. But for the sake of discussion let's say that before Maurice Strong there wasn't one human being alive that had concern for the condition of the environment. Let's even go so far as saying that Mr. Strong is an evil, hypocritical, puppy kicking, maniacal monster. Would it be reasonable to then assume that anyone else who came along after Mr. Strong and expressed concern for the environment they live in must logically also be hypocritical "clowns" bent on world domination?
Clarity, if it makes you feel any better, the dumbing down process (cultural decline) is happening on a global scale
Do you have any evidence to support this claim? How exactly would you quantify this "cultural decline"? Literacy rates? Standardized tests? While personal anecdotes are always amusing and entertaining, I'd really prefer actual scientific evidence if you're going to attempt to support this claim.

I realize that you're referring to a worldwide conspiracy, but in the US the historical trend is that education levels are rising.

Clarity, have you actually read the full text of United Nations Agenda 21? The video you linked is blatant propaganda and fear mongering at its finest. In fact that video should serve as an introduction into how to identify logical fallacies. It's certainly entertaining and provocative, I'll give it that.
Sustainability and overpopulation are very important topics that will need to be addressed in the future. Ignoring these issues won't make them go away.
Here is a link to the actual text of Agenda 21.
http://www.un.org/esa/dsd/agenda21/res_agenda21_00.shtml
This is a brief section of the proposal; tell me if this sounds anti-education to you.
36.3. "Education, including formal education, public awareness and training should be recognized as a process by which human beings and societies can reach their fullest potential. Education is critical for promoting sustainable development and improving the capacity of the people to address environment and development issues. While basic education provides the underpinning for any environmental and development education, the latter needs to be incorporated as an essential part of learning. Both formal and non-formal education are indispensable to changing people's attitudes so that they have the capacity to assess and address their sustainable development concerns. It is also critical for achieving environmental and ethical awareness, values and attitudes, skills and behaviour consistent with sustainable development and for effective public participation in decision-making. To be effective, environment and development education should deal with the dynamics of both the physical/biological and socio-economic environment and human (which may include spiritual) development, should be integrated in all disciplines, and should employ formal and non-formal methods and effective means of communication".
From a cursory read I see many good ideas and suggestions contained with-in the proposal. Can you specifically point to a part of the actual text of Agenda 21 that you disagree with? I would love to have a rational discussion about the merits or drawbacks of the ideas put forth in the UN's proposal. Where does Agenda 21 specifically state a plan to keep people uneducated?
I'm certainly not an expert on UN Agenda 21 and look forward to having an intelligent conversation with you about it. Please don't cite the video as "evidence" to support a NWO conspiracy; let's not waste each other's time with questionable sources and out of context quotes.

papa johns will not back down to the big government stronghold trying to suffocate the fortune of ceo john schnatter.
Romney promised to spend his first day in the White House beginning to repeal the ACA. Romney and his party, save two republican senators who voted for the ACA, oppose health care reform these days in case you missed it.
Why would Romney want to repeal the ACA? Wasn't healthcare reform one of his main accomplishments while Governor of Massachusetts?
I still think that Mitt would know how to fix this problem, he was a businessman.

So you're telling me healthcare is expensive? Who knew?
We should probably think about addressing such an important issue. Or we could bury our heads in the sand and pretend that the problem will go away.
If only we had elected Mitt, he'd know how to reform healthcare. He was a business man.
i apologize if this is old news or has already been discussed, but i notice the society has posted a video commenting on the annual meeting and the adjusted understanding of matthew 24:45 on jw.org.. here is the link.... http://www.jw.org/en/news/events-activities/video-clip-2012-annual-meeting-program/.
thoughts?.
cedars.
Lett has the crazy eyes, it really bothers me watching him speak. He reminds me of this guy...
this is a melancholy day for me.
over the past few years i have been studying american politics and have enjoyed learning perspectives from different ideologies.
i personally lean towards conservative values when it comes to creating legislature, however i am socially liberal.
Frankly, Obama frightens me. He will cater to a specific demographic, like gays or blacks for instance, because they help his campaign and then will largely ignore them while president.
How has Obama ignored gay or black people?
Do you feel that Romney pandered to certain demographics this election?
I personally feel that they both pandered; unfortunately that's a byproduct of politics.

A headscarf? Why would you be any less deserving of respect than the gentleman that came to the door?
Respect goes both ways. Do you feel that he's "superior" or somehow better than you? Can you articulate why you would feel that way? I'm just curious; I'm not trying to criticize.
